About Me: I was one of the first neurosurgeons in East Texas. When I first started doing spine surgery as a neurosurgeon, operations were much simpler. But a few doctors realized we needed better techniques to treat pain and began developing new surgical methods. In 1989, I was one of only 20 or so neurosurgeons in the U.S.A. who did these new, complex surgeries. And I’ve kept up my skills all this time.
