Getting out in front of the DJ table to “ham it up” or make joke/do “schtick”, is not our style. There are plenty of other DJ companies who can accommodate you if you’re looking for cheese. A great DJ should make announcements in order to keep guests in the know, move things along and set the tone without wearing out the microphone. Pre-planning details are important for the DJ. Knowing parents’ names, pronunciations, an anniversary, different music preferences of the guests, etc. The focus is on the bride and groom… NOT your DJ! As the night progresses, a great DJ will make some light announcements to encourage people to dance.
